you would think someone with a 90% + average would have a strong sense of critical thinking and be able to critique/discuss a topic. To be fair, i have just read a couple of entries (all from December, so i may not have much perspective right now) but the only one that attempts to share your opinion is: “Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.” Really?…after reading that entry, it was me who said “Really?,” because wow…that was a very pitiful argument you posed. That phrase isn’t suppose to be taken literally, like most phrases/idioms/metaphors/whatever, there is symbolic meaning. Thus, if you have beef with “dress for the job you want, not the job you have,” then you might as well devote this blog to talking smack about the rest of the annoyances of the english language. But then again, without these annoyances, we would probably be less sophisticated people. But of course, that is just an assumption. Anyways, im sure you know what the phrase means. After all this ranting lol, i came to the conclusion that you were trying for a funny approach? i dont think it was very funny/humourous at all. i dont know what the intent of this blog is, so i cant offer any helpful criticism. my bad:P

I don’t believe I ever said I’d be discussing topics critically on this blog nor did I say that I am attempting to be humorous. You’re right that this blog is lacking a more critical approach to topics but I did say that I’d post whatever interests me. Perhaps I will post some of the critical thinking that you ask for in the days to come.
Also, don’t read it if you don’t want to. Nobody’s forcing you to read this blog.
for the record, i know nobody’s forcing me to read this blog. you’ve broadcasted this on msn and i decided to have a look. and im just doing what your doing. which is expressing myself. if something doesnt taste good, then im not gonna say its delicious.
Once again, thanks for the input. I’m new to this whole blogging thing so any input is greatly appreciated. Maybe you will like some of my older posts as they are more rooted in personal opinion.

I think its great for people to be able to post freely about what is on their mind. Everyone has their own opinions, and when someone doesn’t have anything nice to say, according to a popular english ‘phrase’, “don’t say anything at all”. Point is, I think you’re doin an excellent job and I want you to keep it up!!!
